August 14, 2007: Mattel is voluntarily recalling 9 million of its toys because of hazards to children. The toys, all made in China, include Sarge brand cars, Barbie and Tanner, Polly Pocket dolls and Batman action figures. Earlier this month, Mattel’s Fisher-Price division recalled 1.5 million toys made in China. (http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/08/14/recall/index.html)
