August 14, 2007: Mattel is voluntarily recalling 9 million of its toys because of hazards to children. The toys, all made in China, include Sarge brand cars, Barbie and Tanner, Polly Pocket dolls and Batman action figures. China tells living Buddhas to obtain permission before they reincarnate

Proving that absurdity knows no boundaries, the Communist Chinese regime has banned reincarnation by Buddhas and bodhisattvas without permission from the government. I suppose the Chinese will now begin rewriting the Tibetan Book of the Dead to include the new “bardo of governmental approval.”

American consumers and retailers continue to remain oblivious to the rampant abuse of human rights perpetrated by the repressive Communist Chinese regime both within and outside of China’s borders. At least we’re beginning to see some concern expressed about the dangers of products imported to the U.S. by Chinese manufacturers.
